"Little Thieves"
Crew
writer/producer
Dänna Wilberg
This is Danna's third year participating in "A Place Called Sacramento" film fest. In 2009, her film, "The Push", directed by Gary Nyland of Starlite Studios, won the "Audience Favorite" award. She feels lucky to have worked with such talented, accomplished, actors and an incredible crew. Family and friends keep her inspired, their love and support help her follow her dreams.
The idea for "Little Thieves" came from a story shared by fellow writer, Nick Rotondo.
Dänna's goal in writing is to entertain while making people think and feel. Her characters struggle with everyday situations people can relate to... but it's the way her characters resolve these issues that create fun, and magic. Dänna hopes the audience walks away feeling satisfied with a story well told. Beginning, middle and end.

Starlite Studios LLC
Mr. Nyland started his film making career in the Pleistocene era, when cameras were cranked by hand and takes were occasionally ruined by passing dinosaurs. He frequently filmed on location in the area now known as Carmichael. His very first films were projected onto the walls of caves by flickering firelight and even then, the shimmering images and sticky floors combined to make a memorable experience.
Starlite studios has produced several award winning short films, including "Zombies, A Love Story" and "The Push". The team at Starlite Studios continues to flourish, stealing into the night for great shots and amazing stories.

Rick Gonzales
Rick began his career many moons ago, strictly as a screenwriter. His writing career received an early boost when Rick was accepted to the American Film Institute and their two year screen writing program. But as life would have it, Rick eventually chose duty over dream, passing on AFI to be what he feels is his best job, being dad. Not all was lost though, as Rick was also chosen for the Maui Writers Retreat, twice, where he received wonderful instruction by top Hollywood screenwriters. Rick has written a number of feature films (unproduced) and recently began testing his skill on shorts. It was during an Independent Film making class where he met one of his partners at Starlight Studios. Together, with a third, the trio has produced a few shorts, two of which won awards for the film festivals they were entered. Rick's short, Zombies...A Love Story, won both the Audience Favorite and Judges Choice at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. Rick is now busy working on writing more feature films.

Keith Richardson
Keith Richardson has been working in film for the last 12 years in northern California.
his versatility has allowed him to wear many hats including writer, director, producer, editor and DP, also lending his talents in the art department as a set designer, costumer, armorer, and prop master. Lately, he has begrudgingly gotten in front of the camera as an actor, though it's the last place on a set he wants to be.
His films have played festivals and events and he is currently involved in the soon to be released IT'S ALL TRUE web series which will launch in July at:
