Sonia Dennis
Sonia Dennis will be missed, but never forgotten.
Script Editor
Sonia Dennis - devoted mother, best friend, and talented script editor, passed away on February 8, 2011. During her transition, she stated the nursing staff was producing a movie about her. She proceeded to audition the doctors and nurses she wanted on set the last days of her life. She shared her infinate wisdom, in that we are all producers in life... We choose our "above" and "below" the line cast and crew every day... Our body, designed to endure a multitude of physical changes, helps us develop our character as we journey from scene to scene. And in our final days, we render our most impacting performance of all...

The woman lies in her bed, begging for relief. Nurses and doctors agree, no more lapses between pain medication. An IV drip will deliver more than adequate doses of narcotics to her system, eliminating further need for human assistance to bring her comfort.
Without remorse, the woman says goodbye to despondant children and grandchildren. Her time has come. She is ready.
In her final moments, she gasps for air, gurgles, then falls silent.
From beyond our comprehension, the director yells "CUT!"
Sonia Dennis is off to her next gig... I hope I get the chance to work with her again, soon...
Maybe next time, I'll get to play the mother...
Sonia's work includes, "The Push", "Little Thieves", "Small World", "Borrowed Time" and "Day of Rapture", a story she wrote herself.
Love you Mom!
